Kung Fu Wushu ACT will be holding an open day with its Overcoming Challenges Programme, which aims to have older Canberrans, and those with a disability experience the benefits of learning Kung Fu. Teaching will be tailored to the individual, and their particular requirements.
These benefits include:
Increased self confidence, from understanding easy to learn self defence, and from improved coordination and fitness, as well as learning something new
Increased fitness, from cardio-vascular, flexibility and strength training tailored to your capacities
Better health, coming from fitness, from learning how to extend your mental and physical capacities, and understanding how to use and improve your body’s natural energy
Chi Gung, to tap into your natural energy
Meditation, to encourage calm, and increase enjoyment of life
To take part, simply come along to one of the following classes on the evening of Tuesday 10 May:
